Timbre Coup Snoe.Down
. Before Timbre Coup plays Snoe.Down, they will be wrapping up residency at Nectar's in Burlington, Vermont, on February 23, 2011. The residency has allowed the band to build momentum in the Vermont-area, piquing the interest of Snoe.down organizers. Timbre Coup's drummer, Matt "Pick" Pickering says, "We have had a brand new audience of enthusiastic fans each week while playing at Nectars and we hope to see them at Snoe.Down in March." This last year has been a groundbreaking year for Timbre Coup from spreading their seed far and wide touring regionally, taking residency at Nectar's, their new studio album Check out This, a spot at last year's Camp Bisco, a feature in Relix magazine's December 2010 issue, and now to their addition to this year's Snoe.down festival. "We are thrilled to be part of the Snoe.down lineup and all of our fans are super excited for us" and he continued, "If it's the biggest festival we play all year then we will be happy, but I think it is a good sign of things coming our way. Plus we are pumped to begin a relationship with moe." Formed in 2007, Timbre Coup is Albany, New York's premiere progressive jamband. Some have called the sound "improg." Few disagree, saying the sound converges into various realms, easily crossing over to electronica and trance.
