. (Gibson) Who better than the Prince of Darkness to add a little extra class to 2011's Record Store Day? Ozzy Osbourne has been named the day's official ambassador.

Taking the gig means Ozzy now has "the power to command you to attend Record Store Day" (in his words).

Record Store Day 2011 will take place at independent music retailers on April 16. Each store will feature a bevy of exclusive vinyl and CD singles, EPs and albums. As ambassador, Ozzy won't be left out. A 7" vinyl release for "Flying High Again" and "I Don't Know" (live) will be one of the items available.
