. (hennemusic) Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and the American Idol crew joined Oprah on Wednesday to talk about the 10th season.

When asked about his bandmates' reaction, Tyler said, "I've been judged all my life. The band went on tour and we were off tour. I saw this as an opportunity to have some fun and to sit next to J-Lo here. And Randy."

Tyler also spoke about the show's process of seeing applicants in each of the cities where Idol looked for talent this year. more on this story
