Katy Perry Raises $175,000 For Nonprofits

Katy made special tickets available for sale for her US tour through Tickets-for-Charity.com, where fans were able to access some of the best seats in the house while also supporting these outstanding organizations and other charities of their choice.

Katy personally selected the three charities to benefit from her Tickets-for-Charity� program, saying, "I'm thrilled to be able to help support the work these organizations are doing to fight and prevent animal cruelty, provide health care to homeless children and bring clean drinking water to communities around the world."

Representatives from the charities and Tickets-for-Charity joined Katy for a special check presentation after her final California Dreams tour performance to celebrate the significant and lasting impact that funds generated will have on these vital causes:

� Children's Health Fund will be able fund more than 430 doctor visits through their nationwide fleet of mobile health clinics, helping underserved and at-risk children who would otherwise lack access to basic health care;

� Generosity Water is building wells in Ghana, Nigeria, Laos and India and will be able to provide clean, safe drinking water to more than 4,000 people as a result of this amazing partnership;

� The Humane Society of the United States will be able to fund a rescue operation for nearly 50 puppy mill dogs in addition to continuing its work to reduce suffering and improve the lives of all animals.
