For the first of four dates, the band was joined by special guests Jason Newsted, John Marshall (Metal Church), Sean Harris and Brian Tatler (Diamond Head), Biff Byford (Saxon) and Apocalyptica.

The setlist featured a real rarity: "Hate Train," a previously unreleased song from the "Death Magnetic" sessions.
