Max Wants Truce With Sepultura

(Rock News Desk) Max Cavalera has called for an end to the war of words between himself and former band Sepultura, vowing he's learned his lesson after making up with his brother following ten years of acrimony.

Cavalera walked out on the band he'd formed in 1996. He reunited with his sibling, drummer Iggor, in 2007 and the pair play together in Cavalera Conspiracy. But the frontman, who also plays with Soulfly, hopes a time can come when the original Sepultura lineup can also settle their differences, and play together again just occasionally.

"I don't have anything against those guys. To be friends again would be really cool," He tells Bravewords. "After spending ten years not talking to Iggor, and seeing how stupid that was, I wish this press war was over.
