. "The strangest thing about the hiatus is that I actually didn't realize that it was an official thing," singer Tunde Adebimpe told ClashMusic.com. "But we definitely did need to take a break, at least from touring, for everyone's individual sanities." As for the layoff, Tunde doesn't think it will affect the group long-term: "I remember picking up two Breeders records that came out, and being shocked that the previous record had came out seven years beforehand. They didn't stop existing in my mind," he said.
