Singled Out: Addicted To Pain's Hear N Now
. This song started with a heavy riff. Just like most of our songs do. Unknown to me it was in an odd time "7" as our drummer said. He loves this song largely because of that. The jackhammer/machine gun feel of that opening riff combined with my usual disgust for whatever was going on that day in the demise of our country gave way to the opening lyric " I had much love , one proud American." Don't get me wrong I'm still one proud American. Proud and disgusted. Hearing is believing.
