Anthrax Star Goes Disney
. These new collectible figures are the hottest craze to hit Disney Parks & Resorts. Based on the character Mickey Mouse, the Vinylmation figures take on different looks, urban styles and characters, and often depict different Disney park attractions and icons. Benante knew at a young age there was art and music in his blood. A Disney fan from the start, it was Walt Disney's "Fantasia" that led him to get hooked on creating art in all forms, as well as his love for Mickey Mouse and the flawless and seamless animation that only Disney could provide. Known mainly for his drumming skills, Benante has performed on over fifty tours spanning the globe and has been instrumental in the creation and development of the art and graphic designs seen on numerous band album covers, t-shirts and more. Now, marching to the beat of another drum, comes Benante's nine (9) music inspired 9" Vinylmation figures. Benante has intricately wound gauze-like material reminiscent of sheet music around the Vinylmation, from head to toe, creating an almost mummified appearance with an ear for music and an eye for design, which is clearly a tribute to his love for music and art. Not one to kiss and tell, Benante has also created three additional Vinylmation figures he calls "Kisses." How can you not love them? If you want to check out Benante's rocking' new Vinylmation figures and meet the man himself, be sure and hit D Street in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort on October 23 from 5-8PM.
