U2 Debut Spider-Man Song
. According to the band's website, the performance of the song "Boy Falls From the Sky" before a 55,000 capacity audience marked the sixth unreleased track played by the band on their current European tour. Although it was the first time U2 have played the song, Sunday's performance wasn't its public debut. "Boy Falls From the Sky" was performed by singer-songwriter and actor Reeve Carney on Good Morning America on September 10 for the launch of Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. Carney will stomp the boards (and, presumably, swing from the rafters on some manner of wrist-firing web mechanism) as Peter Parker and Spider-Man when the production debuts at Foxwoods Theater in New York City on December 21. Previews begin on November 14. - more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock. |
