Dave Grohl Talks Nirvana Semi Reunion
. It's the first time the pair have worked together in 20 years, but they've never lost touch. The recording process also reunited them with producer Butch Vig, who manned the desk for Nirvana's iconic Nevermind album in 1991. Grohl decided to abandon the trappings of expensive production work for the Foos' first record after taking a break. He wanted to look back at his own and his band's roots, so the new album was recorded in his garage and a movie was shot of the process.
