Gene Simmons Comes To Steven Tyler's Defense

. (hennemusic) The recent war of words that kicked off with Kid Rock's stance against Steven Tyler's decision to join American Idol, has started to bring out support in favor of the Aerosmith frontman's move to try and bring rock back into mainstream America.

Gene Simmons of KISS recently tweeted about his thoughts on the Tyler deal and the fuss caused by Kid Rock.

"Kid Rock's wrong," wrote Simmons. "Kid's a good guy. Though he's got the goods. But he's wrong about Tyler and Amer Idol. Kid said Tyler did the "stupidest thing" re: Amer Idol. He's wrong.
