Ozzy Osbourne To Celebrate John Lennon's Birthday in Liverpool

. Echo.co.uk reports that Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon are planning a pilgrimage to John Lennon's hometown to celebrate the iconic musician's 70th birthday. There is as yet no real details about what this visit will involve but here is part of their report:

Rock legend Ozzy and wife Sharon were invited to Liverpool to celebrate October 9, which would have been the late musician's landmark birthday.

The Black Sabbath frontman is a massive Beatles fan and received an invitation from Liverpool's Lord Mayor, Cllr Mike Storey. Former X Factor judge Sharon revealed all about their planned visit on Merseyside DJ Pete Price's show on Radio City yesterday. - more on this story
