Grammy Nominees CD Manage Top 5 Debut

The 2010 Grammy Nominees CD, which was released Jan. 19 debuted today at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, selling more than 48,000 units and besting the first week sales and chart position of the 2009 collection.

The disc contains many of the most widely recognized Grammy categories with 20 tracks representing nominees for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals, and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals.

The CD is made possible by a special arrangement with all of the major music distribution companies and rotates labels from year to year.

The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held Jan. 31 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, and will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 Surround Sound on the CBS Television Network from 8 � 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
