Metallica Announce Festival Appearance, Promise More Dates

. Metallica announced that they take part in Rock in Rio, Madrid this summer and they also promised that some more additional dates will be announced soon. Here is what they had to say:

We are excited to be participating in Rock In Rio again, this time in Madrid! The multi-date festival at Madrid City of Rock takes place over six days in early June and we'll be there on Monday, June 14, 2010.

Tickets go on sale February 23 at 12:01 AM at www.rockinrio.com or in Spain through El Corte Ingles (902 400 222). The daily ticket price is 69 Euro and VIP tickets may be purchased by sending an e-mail to taquilla@rockinrio.com.
