Secret Bruce Springsteen Gig To Be Webcast

. (hennemusic) Bruce Springsteen hit the Jersey shore for a 'secret' video shoot at the Casino carousel in Asbury Park Tuesday afternoon.

New Jersey's Star-Ledger reports the shoot was for an upcoming webcast, and featured Bruce and the E Street Band performing songs from "The Promise," his new collection of songs from the 1977/78 "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" sessions.

Bruce used the 1978 version of the E Street Band, as Nils Lofgren, Soozie Tyrell and Patti Scialfa were not present. more on this story
