Bob Dylan's Handwritten Lyrics to be Auctioned
. The Dylan lyrics sheet will be auctioned off as part of a large collection of books and manuscripts. Sotheby's expects the lot to sell for more than $200,000. The reason that the "The Time They are A-Changin'" lyrics are no longer in Dylan's care is because he ditched the sheet as soon as he memorized the words. He gave the sheet to his folk-singing friend Kevin Krown. When Krown died in the '90s, he left the paper to Mac and Eve McKenzie, who were also fixtures on the New York folk scene in the '60s. - more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
