Travis Frontman Taps Paul McCartney For Solo Album
. DigitalSpy.com reports that Travis singer Fran Healy will release his debut solo album on October 4. The album is to be called Wreckorder and will be released on Healy's own wreckordLABEL. The album was recorded in Berlin, New York and Vermont and features Paul McCartney playing bass on "As it Comes." "One of the biggest coups was getting Paul McCartney to play bass on a song, Healy wrote on his website. "I'm not sure what non-McCartney tunes he has played bass on but I couldn't think of many.
