Iron Maiden Rocketing To The Top

. It looks like Iron Maiden's new album The Final Frontier is rocketing to the top of the charts in the band's native UK.

Rock Radio reports: The band's fifteenth studio album has entered the UK midweek charts at number one, with over 22,000 sales since its release yesterday � three times as many as second-placed Eminem.

That puts the metal icons on course to top the official list on Sunday, which naturally delights McBrain. He tells MusicRadar.com: "It would be a great accolade. Would it mean the same now as it might have 15 or 20 years ago? I can't say � but at the end of the day I know we have a great album." - more on this story
