"When it came down to it I ended up working with everybody I'd pegged for the material I wrote," Slash says in a new interview. "I worked with Steven for a second, but it was a huge conflict of interest with Aerosmith. There was no chance the label was going to allow us to release it, so we had to let it go," he said.
