Jason Bonham Hoping For Led Zeppelin Reunion Experience
. "What I want to do is a personal story," Bonham explained to Billboard.com. To that end, the show (titled "Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience") will feature video footage of Zeppelin and will include set changes. Bonham will also record narration to "give a little background on them and the reason why I'm playing them, and stories about growing up with dad and how Zeppelin has been part of my life from the beginning. It's a good musical journey. It'll be sad at times... but it will really be a celebration." As for the surviving members of the legendary band, with whom Bonham shared the stage at a 2007 reunion show at London's O2 arena, the drummer has left an open invitation: "I will invite them to every show I can, because my goal and dream is, 'Wouldn't it be cool if I did something that they thought was cool and they would get up and play with me?' That's what I'm doing [this] for. I'd love it." The show has already received a blessing from Robert Plant, but Bonham has yet to hear back from Jimmy Page or John Paul Jones. - more on this story
