Portugal. The Man Map Out Fall Tour

. Portugal. The Man has announced a North American tour for this fall which kicks off on October 5th at The Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois, and wraps with a show at Los Angeles' famed El Rey Theater on October 30th.

The Portland-via-Alaska-based band has just embarked on a major European tour, with headline shows and festival appearances slated for Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Upon their return, Portugal. The Man will join up with Primus' "The Oddity Faire 2010," with dates kicking off September 20th at Eagle, Idaho's Eagle River Pavilion.

As if all that weren't enough, the band will also appear at this year's Austin Music Festival extravaganza, slated for October 10th at Austin, Texas' Zilker Park.

Portugal. The Man recently commenced work with producer John Hill (Santigold, M.I.A., The Bravery) on their as-yet-untitled Approaching AIRballoons/Atlantic Records debut, scheduled for release in early 2011.
