Nelson, formerly with Devilsize, was dramatically thrown out in July while on the road, after rumours circulated of "chemistry problems" inside the organisation. With almost no warning Anthrax announced the cancellation of their European tour due to Nelson being ill. However, the dismissed singer immediately reported he was in perfect health, although he'd suspected for a few days something was brewing.
Fans who saw the band with Nelson were positive about his performance and most of the band had been enthusing about Worship Music ahead of its release. Bush himself had been elbowed out in 2005 when Anthrax decided to reunite with Joey Belladonna for a retrospective tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their most successful commercial era.
