The EP is highlighted by the single, "Take My Hand (Remix)," featuring guest vocals from Hey Monday's Cassadee Pope. The track the original version of which can be found on the Las Vegas-based band's breakthrough 2008 debut, "WHISPER WAR" will be accompanied by a companion video clip, set to premiere in mid-June. "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS" also gathers exclusive live and acoustic tracks, as well as "Diamonds are Forever (and Forever is a Mighty Long Time)," a b-side from their debut release.
The Cab will celebrate the EP's release with their biggest headline tour to date. The "What Happens In Vegas Tour" kicks off June 18th at Tucson, Arizona's Club Congress, and then continues though a hugely anticipated hometown show at Las Vegas' House of Blues on August 9th. Main support on the tour will be split between The Secret Handshake and The Cab's fellow Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen labelmates, A Rocket To The Moon. Also set to appear on selected dates are such bands as The Summer Set, Eye Alaska, Anarbor, and My Favorite Highway check local listings for details.
Produced by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, 3OH!3), with additional production by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump, "WHISPER WAR" arrived at #1 on Billboard's "Top Heatseekers" chart upon its 2008 release. The album which includes the hit singles "I'll Run," "Bounce," and "One Of THOSE Nights" received copious critical acclaim for their fresh sound and vision, with Alternative Press declaring The Cab to be one of the "100 Bands You Need To Know" in its influential yearly round-up.
