Rock Band To Be Sub Popped

(exclaim.ca) Seattle label Sub Pop has revealed that it is looking into new Rock Band technology to turn its entire catalogue into playable songs on the videogame. Yes, that means, albums by the likes of Nirvana, Shins, Fleet Foxes, No Age and so many more.

While speaking of the recently launched Rock Band Network, which gives anyone the option to add songs to the Rock Band store, Sub Pop exec and Rock Band vet Tony Kiewel told Rolling Stone:

"This conceivably could be the opening of the floodgates We always had the feeling that the people at Harmonix, they're all in bands, they're music people and I think it actually broke their hearts that we couldn't work it out to get our stuff into the queue faster. - See what other plans they have
