The incident [was said to have] led the band to cancel the rest of its tour dates for August and September to give Jordison time to recover. At the moment a planned October trek is still on the group's schedule, although dates and cities have yet to be finalized.
Slipknot bassist Paul Gray Posted a message online in which he did not directly address the cause of Jordison's condition, but did mention that the band needed to deal with "personal issues." Gray wrote, "We are very sorry we had to cancel this leg of the tour. As you know touring is our life, getting in front of you guys and playing keeps this band alive. So it hurts us as much as you that we had to do this. There are personal issues in the band that need to be taken care of for us to continue touring. Let me emphasize Joey is not dead/dying, he is fine." - more on this story
