. (Jam!) Quick-thinking security guards saved Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl from an onstage attack at the Austin City Limits music festival in Texas on Sunday night when they wrestled a fan to the ground.

Grohl's rockers were headlining the last day of the weekend festival when an audience member clambered up onto the stage and ran towards the singer.

Initially startled, Grohl played down the drama by telling the crowd, "He's just a drunken college dork." - more on this story
