The Illinois Supreme Court has denied a motion filed by Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and The Associated Press to have the Supreme Court order the Cook County Circuit Court to unseal the records immediately.
The court simply denied the motion on Monday. According to AP "Judge Vincent Gaughan has said he's trying to protect Kelly's rights and prevent information from influencing prospective jurors."
Kelly's trial starts on Friday. He has been charged with videotaping himself engaging in sexual activities with an underage girl. - Read more about the ruling here
