. (Blabbermouth) It's good to be right. Last week we made a guess that the "mysterious" images appearing on Metallica's website was their way of revealing the name of their new album. That's exactly what it was. And the joke about Magnetica wasn't too far off either. We'll resist the temptation to joke about the title since it's a step-up from St. Anger.

Blabbermouth has more: Metallica has announced the title of its new album � "Death Magnetic" � by posting the finalized/complete version of the image that originally appeared on the band's official web site on Tuesday (June 10) under the headline "???."

The CD is due out in September. A short video clip revealing the new album title and featuring an audio sample of a brand new song can be viewed - here
