Arctic Monkeys have picked up three nominations for this years BRIT Awards, which were announced tonight (January 14th) in London. The Sheffield band are in the running for British Group, British Album � for 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' - and British Live Act.

Despite having the biggest selling album of 2007, Amy Winehouse received just one nomination for 'Valerie', her collaboration with producer Mark Ronson. Her album, 'Back To Black', which was released at the end of 2006, did not qualify for this years awards. - more on this story
