This U.S. trip comes as The Cure celebrate the release of their thirteenth studio album, 4:13 Dream which has received raves from the media with People Magazine giving the album four stars stating it's "a damn near classic Cure album."
Earlier this year The Cure embarked on a 59 date world tour and over the summer released four singles leading up to the release of 4:13 Dream.
At one point all four singles "The Only One," "Freakshow," "Sleep When I'm Dead," and "The Perfect Boy" - appeared in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart! In September the Hypnagogic States EP was released and featured remixes of all four singles by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), Pete Wentz & Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Jade Puget (AFI) , 30 Seconds To Mars and 65 Days Of Static (who supported The Cure on most of their recent tour).
