MySpaces "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour" contest is happening in conjunction with the release of Lenny Kravitzs 8th studio album, It Is Time For A Love Revolution. Featuring 14 new songs, including the singles "Bring It On" and "I'll Be Waiting," the album is the artists first new release in over three years. As the title indicates, the album is a thunderous rock 'n roll call-to-arms featuring Kravitz singing songs of a love revolution backed by a universal blend of soul, funk, and jazz grooves and the undeniable, anthemic lyricism that's been his trademark from day one.
The "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour" contest is open to all MySpace members who are (or become) friends with Lenny. To enter, Kravitz fans can visit his official MySpace profile www.myspace.com/lennykravitz and submit a photo and text explaining why they should be chosen to be a part of this tour. Each entry will be judged by Kravitz and a panel made up of members of the Capitol Music Group. Winners will be notified in early December. The tour currently has nine scheduled stops in the US. The tour will run from January 17th to February 1st, hitting cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia and New York., with confirmed dates to be announced shortly.
