(punkbands) Remember the Dr. Martens story where they were using images of famous dead rock icons to promote their shoes? The company have pulled the campaign and fired the agency responsible for the "Rockers In Heaven" Ads.

In an official statement from David Suddens, CEO of Airwair Ltd, reads: Dr. Martens regrets the use of unauthorized images. Dr Martens is very sorry for any offense that has been caused by the publication of images showing dead rock icons wearing Dr Martens boots.

Dr Martens did not commission the work as it runs counter to our current marketing activities based on FREEDM, which is dedicated to nurturing grass roots creativity and supporting emerging talent.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
