Circus Diablo Week: Rollercoaster and Hello Goodbye

.
(DiR) Circus Diablo, the band fronted by The Cult's Billy Morrison and also features Billy Duffy (The Cult), Ricky Warwick (Almighty), and Brett Scallions (Fuel) are releasing their self-titled debut album next week. The album features a guest appearance by Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver) who played the drums on all of the tracks. Slut's Charles Ruggiero will be drumming on the upcoming tour with Mondo Generator and on Ozzfest.

To celebrate the release, we asked frontman Billy Morrison to give us the lowdown on his top five favorite tracks from the CD. We conclude today with Billy telling us about two more songs: "Rollercoaster" and "Hello Goodbye!" ROLLERCOASTER. Pretty much the one about my Heroin addiction. It lasted 14 years and took me to places I never dreamt I would go - homeless, begging for change, and alone on the streets. To have the chance to write this song felt really good. The ride, the journey that I was on was so crazy - and I wanted to drag people along with me. And now when I tell the stories, people cant associate the person that I am now with the guy that I was back then. I wanted to commit the feelings to music. Turn this one up LOUD and repeatedly bang your head against a wall thats kind of how I felt when I wrote it. ** HELLO GOODBYE. A complete stream of consciousness. Literally got up in the middle of the night, wrote down some very cool, but pretty random lyrics in about 20 minutes, and then went back to sleep. The next day, I read them back, sat down, and wrote the chords to the main riffs. It means different things to different people and although I relate to a bunch of the lyrics, I encourage people to make their own minds up about this track.
