The bands performance combined the raw vigour of youthful song writing and the out of the world techniques of veteran musicians. All members of the original line appeared - the Asheton Brothers, Dave Alexander and of course the legendary Iggy Pop. Barely out of their teens in their heyday (1967-1974), The Stooges were as much influenced by Detroit's industrial noise as they were rock groups like the Velvet Underground, The Who, the Stones and experimental jazz artists such as Sun Ra and John Coltrane.
'Escaped Maniacs Live at Lokerse' comes packed with over 5 hours of footage, together with bonus material, including interviews with the band members and Iggy Retrospective more than 30 years in 60 minutes.
