(antiMusic) At appears that there are 32,000 more Common rap fans out there than children of the Korn as the generic named rapper beat the nu-metal pioneers to the top of the charts during the first week of sales for their respective new albums.

Common enjoyed his first chart topping debut when his new album Finding Forever moved 155,000 copies last week. Korn's untitled album proved that there is still a healthy nu-metal audience in the U.S. with sales of 123,000 according to reported Nielsen SoundScan numbers.

It looks like Korn will just beat out last week's number one, Now That's What I Call Music! Vol. 25, for the number two spot on the charts. With the Hairspray soundtrack coming in 4th and Miley Cyrus's Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus rounding out the top 5.
