Entry will be free from now through 2006 while the site is live in Beta. After January 1, 2007, all entrants will submit $25 with entries. The site officially launches on January 15 when voting begins. There will be no difference in the consideration given to videos submitted during the Beta period and those submitted after January 1.
Music Nation, focused on music and finding genuine talent, has already received more than 400 video entries that are available for viewing on the site - all submitted from word-of-mouth about the contest spreading virally. Bands and musicians now have the ability to check out their competition and submit their own video entries, while the public can register with the site to browse, form, or join groups as well as comment on videos.
