Dark Romantics Set Release

. (PR) Dark Romantics release, "Some Midnight Kissin'" is due out February 13th on D.C.'s own Lujo Records. The Florida based quintet (composed of husbands and wives and one extra) has released a series of demos and E.P.s, but this particular joint, engineered and produced by Jason Martin of Starflyer 59 (who initially took interest in the band via some recordings and convinced them to fly to California to record for free), marks their full length debut. Chalk full of silky synths, mid-tempo pelvis-charming rhythms, soprano swoons, and candlelit hooks, the album's title should be taken fairly literally as this one's for lovers. Hit the club then light up some incense and break out the body oils and roses... the Dark Romantics take on pop-centric rock n' roll, with cited influence in the domestic South and across the Atlantic deep into the U.K.'s sassy veins, places an emphasis on sexy.
