. (PR) Since 2001, TV on the Radio have been incorporating a mix of instantaneous, charged, organic sound that can't be squeezed into any convenient pigeonhole. Their music somehow combines cosmic jazz, amped-up electronica, twitchy, danceable beats and swathes of treated guitar into rich and endlessly surprising folds of sound.

The draw of post-rock, gospel New York new wave and deepest dub, yet they mark everything they use with their own unique signature. With the mix of all these sounds, the band is back with Return to Cookie Mountain. This full-length release is a more polished, but still soul-searching collection of songs.
