The festival attracts over 30,000 fans a year and is one of the most prestigious and respected events of its kind. The 2004 festival saw Wacken celebrating its 15th anniversary and boasted such prominent acts as Mot�rhead, Dio, Anthrax, Children Of Bodom, Cannibal Corpse, Nevermore and Mayhem.
