Feet Under - Graveyard Classics 2
When I got this CD the first thing I did was listen to it instead of looking at the track list. So I was caught off guard when I realized that this time around it was all AC/DC covers, infact it was a cover of the entire Back in Black album. If you remember the first Graveyard Classics CD, then you remember that it had some Hendrix, Savatage, Scorpions, and a good variety. This time it's more focused on one path, so the mood of the CD stays the same from beginning to end. We all know that Six Feet Under album is not for everyone, Chris Barnes (formerly of Cannibal Corpse) has a voice that appeals to a select crowd. Some of the older AC/DC fans might not like this album for that reason, but to be fair the same thing could be said about Brian Johnson (who became AC/CD frontman in 1980 after Bon Scott's death). This album is a good way for metal fans who like AC/DC to crank up some old school rock songs around their non AC/DC friends. On the other hand it's a good way to bug the hell out of those old rock dudes we all know, who can remember seeing AC/DC back in eighty-something but think that the music today is a waste of time. I'm shooting for the latter option. So here is the bottom line, it's AC/DC
metaled out with the awesomeness that is Six Feet Under. It's worth the
money and it's worth listening to over and over again.
