Forever The Sickest Kids Singer Arrested For Selling Fake Rolexes
(Radio.com) Jonathan Cook, frontman for pop-punk band Forever The Sickest Kids, was apparently arrested in January for selling counterfeit Rolex watches, he admitted.

A collector of antique automobiles and wrist watches, the Dallas-based, 29-year-old singer released a statement Monday (April 22). It reads:

"I am writing this letter to apologize to my friends and fans for my recent arrest and charges against me for trademark counterfeiting, with attempted distribution of counterfeit Rolex watches.

"Before being arrested, I was not aware of how serious such a transaction was and through my experience I have learned that it does not matter how or where I purchased the watches. Simply presenting an item for sale with a false trademark logo is a criminal offense, even if it is well known that the item is a fake." more.

Megadeth Streaming Super Collider
(Classic Rock) Megadeth have released an online stream of Super Collider, the title track of their upcoming album and it is being met with mix reactions.

The track is already splitting fans, some of whom are disappointed with the lack of guitar action, while others don't like the pace of the song. Nearly a third of responses to the YouTube steam have been negative.

Mainman Dave Mustaine recently said of the album: "When we started the deadline was pretty heavy on this. We had signed our contract and we had such-and-such amount of time to do it but we were out on tour, so every day was ticking away.

"It was like biting your fingers kind of stuff. When we came in, the first couple songs, I wanted to get some of the more melodic stuff out of the way and save some of the full on, ass kicking stuff for the end." Check out the stream here.

Fall Out Boy Replace Paramore At The Top Of The Charts
(Radio.com) Justin Timberlake, Paramore and now Fall Out Boy at the top of the charts? Are we sure it's 2013? For five straight weeks, the Billboard 200 album chart has experienced an onslaught of artists who held major relevance in the mid-2000s, particularly 2006 and 2007, followed by a period of lessened popularity and/or eventual inactivity.

Prior to Timberlake's three-week reign, the No.1 album in the country belonged to Bon Jovi, a band that admittedly held more sway in its earlier days but still connected with 2005′s "Who Says You Can't Go Home" and the 2007 album Lost Highway.

This week, Fall Out Boy took the top spot in America with its big comeback album, Save Rock & Roll, which debuts at No. 1 with 153,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The band beats out its closest competitor, Kid Cudi, by almost 20,000 copies, as the rapper's Indicud slots in second.

Rewind to February 2007. That month, Fall Out Boy went to the top of the charts with the band's third album, Infinity on High, buoyed by big singles "This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race" and "Thnks fr th Mmrs" and the strong performance of its previous album, From Under the Cork Tree, which put the band on the map in 2005 and 2006. more on this story

Queensryche Offering Free Album Replacement
(Classic Rock) Geoff Tate's version of Queensryche are offering a free replacement of their album Frequency Unknown to anyone who's bought it and doesn't like the mix.

The band made moves to produce a new edit after some fans objected to the quality of preview clips ahead of the record's release this week. They originally hired Billy Sherwood to turn his hand to producing a new version, but he bowed out citing time constraints.

Tate recently said: "We were a little rushed on the mixing end of it, so we're having some of the songs remixed before the album comes out. That's typical with records you have to have them in on time.

"Luckily, with this situation, we get to go back and correct some areas where we thought it was kind of lacking. I've done that on probably three quarters of the records I've ever made." More details here.

Ozzy Osbourne Explains Black Sabbath's God Is Dead?
Black Sabbath have released 'God Is Dead?,' the first single from their forthcoming reunion album, "13," and frontman Ozzy Osbourne explained the inspiration behind the song in a recent interview.

Ozzy called in to Zane Lowe's BBC show and had this to say about the song, "How I got that title was I was in somebody's office and there was a magazine on a table and it just said, 'God Is Dead,' and I suddenly thought about 9/11 and all these terrorist things and religion and how many people have died in the name of religion," explained Osbourne.

"When you think about the tragedy that's happened throughout time, it just came in my head. You'd think by now that their God would have stopped people dying in the name of, so I just starting thinking that people must be thinking, 'Where is God? God is dead' and it just hit me."

Ozzy also addressed the controversial song title by pointing out, "At the end of the thing, there's still a bit of hope because there I sing that I don't believe that God is dead. It's just a question of when you see so many dreadful people killing each other with bombs, and blowing the tube trains up and the World Trade Center."

He also explained how well the recording process worked for the reunited group, "It flowed out of us. We actually wrote and recorded 16 songs and we had eight songs left over as a bonus thing, you know. It was like doing a double album. The songs really stand up, you know."

BBC are streaming the entire show online, which includes the Ozzy interview (which you will find 44 minutes into the broadcast) here.

Iron Maiden's Trooper Ale A Huge Hit Even Before Release
(Classic Rock) Iron Maiden's Trooper ale has proved so successful that the makers are having to work overtime before it's even gone on sale.

But frontman Bruce Dickinson admits it wasn't just a case of adding the band's name to a bottle, and they actually had to audition for brewers Robinsons.

The award-winning firm tied in with Maiden to create a "secret squirrel" recipe. Interest has been so strong that they've moved to a six-day week to keep up with advance orders, with over 100 countries having expressed an interest in stocking it.

Brewery boss David Bremner tells the Sun that in their 175-year history they've never had to make three batches a day. "We haven't spent a single penny on advertising," he says. "This is history in the making for brewing." more on this story

Singled Out: One Less Reason's Uneasy
Today One Less Reason frontman Cris Brown tells us about the song "Uneasy" from the band's fifth album "A Blueprint For Writhing." Here is the story:

Uneasy was a very strange song for me as it in a few ways looked into my past and my future, let me explain. In November of 2011 I was really stressed with making and writing a new record as well as in a few months I was about to become a dad for the first time. So honestly with all of these emotions weighing on me I was going days sometimes without sleeping and was very exhausted. So on November 17th, I remember the date because it was one of my good friends birthday, anyway I decided to lay down early and catch up on some sleep and I had this dream. But I guess before I explain the dream I need to tell you about my grandmother. My grandmother was a huge impact on me as a child. I spent probably as much time with her as I did my own mother. She passed away when I was 8 years old and I still think about her daily and remember her vividly. Ok, so back to the dream. I was dreaming that I was back living in this old house that I grew up in as a child and someone knocked on the door. I go to answer the door and there is a man holding a cell phone. He said "it for you" I took the phone from the man and said hello? And on the other end of the line I hear my grandmothers voice. There was no mistaking it. I knew who it was on the first syllable. She said " Hey baby, I hear you have been having a rough time and I just wanted you to know that there's a heaven for all of us... even for those of us that sold our souls" I woke up right then trying to control myself from screaming out loud all the while wishing I could go back to sleep and finish that phone call. I got out of bed and grabbed my acoustic and wrote the chorus to Uneasy. However the second verse speaks of someone passing away and how the head stone will give you insight into when and where someone lived. It could never tell you the little thing that made that person special and how much they were loved by people that we may not even know. Every time I sing that verse now all I can think about is my Dad whom passed away in February of this year. In a lot of ways I feel like this song is a link between me and two people that I loved dearly.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the video here learn more about the band and the album right here!
