Nipplegate Appeal

(FMQB) Yesterday, lawyers for CBS filed an official appeal contesting the FCC's ruling over the infamous 2004 Janet Jackson/Super Bowl incident, as well as the $550,000 fine levied against the network. CBS stated in the filing that it had broadcast "an unscripted, unauthorized, and unintended long-distance shot of Ms. Jackson's breast for nine-sixteenths of one second," but committed no wrongdoing.

Additionally, the network placed the blame on Jackson and Justin Timberlake, who "independently and clandestinely devised the finale" of her performance without informing anyone from CBS.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
