(TuneLab) Universal Music Group has been engaging in what is known as "guerrilla marketing," where people are hired to invade message boards and consumer sites such as Amazon.com that allow users to submit reviews. Individuals pretend to be just normal visitors to a site and establish an identity, then start plugging products, in this case music and videos from Universal Music Group.
