(Riot Act) After the disbanding of Small Brown Bike, singer Mike Reed, his wife, Katy, and original SBB drummer Dan Jaquint welded themselves together into some sort of heart and mind sharing charmingly mutated siamese triple play whiz kid. Sure thing, some of the Bike's finer qualities are present in the workings of LaSalle, but to better it all, the aggressive tendencies are coupled by sweetened pop dynamics and countering male/female vocals. "Expedition Songs", LaSalle's debut joint drops in the States and Europe early this winter on Chicago/Los Angeles based Thick Records.
