Pink Floyd Reunite For Live 8

. (antiMusic) The Pink Floyd camp has put to rest rumors that they will reunite. The band including Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright will join each other on stage for the first time in almost 20 years at the London leg of Live 8 at Hyde Park on July 2nd, according to the BBC.

"Like most people I want to do everything I can to persuade the G8 leaders to make huge commitments to the relief of poverty and increased aid to the third world," said Dave Gilmour.

"Any squabbles Roger and the band have had in the past are so petty in this context, and if reforming for this concert will help focus attention then it's got to be worthwhile," he added.
