that Sharon Osbourne's life is set to become a television movie. The Osbourne
matriarch is secretly working on the project and hopes her daughter Kelly
can play the role of the young Sharon. "It has great potential but it will
be hard to cast someone to play Ozzy," Sharon told a spy. "He is rather
unique, you see, and it will take a big man to fill those shoes." Sharon
hopes the TV movie will start production by spring. -

for the families of Nathan Bray and Erin Halk.

some scumbag stole it from the venue that night. This item was donated

Blabbermouth reports: KILLSWITCH ENGAGE frontman
Howard Jones was forced to sit out the band's performance in Toronto on
Sunday (Jan. 9) due to a "blown-out" throat (as guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz
put it in a public announcement before their set). Trevor Phipps from support
act UNEARTH joined KILLSWITCH ENGAGE on stage for a few songs, despite
having little knowledge of the lyrics. Two fans who apparently knew the
songs were also pulled from the crowd to help out in the vocal department,
with one managing to sing the entire song "When Darkness Falls". But after
four tracks, and a tired Phipps, the band called it a night. [see full

Blabbermouth reports: A wig purportedly used
by KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley during the making of the group's
1989 video, "Rise to It", is currently being auctioned on eBay. A message
on the auction page from the seller, Alexx Michael from the band SHAMELESS,
reads as follows:
"This is a wig for the top of Paul's head
that he used in the 'Rise to It' video. His initials are on the inside
of the wig. This wig was just a part of his head. It was on top over his

MTV reports: As 1,800 fans boarded the Bahamas-bound
ship at its port in Jacksonville, Florida, they were met by police and
drug-sniffing dogs. A dozen people were arrested for attempting to pass
through U.S. Customs with illegal substances.
The Jam Cruise is an annual four-day excursion
that features performances, autograph sessions and related events with
several major acts from the jam-band genre. This year's cruise featured
Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Galactic, Umphrey's McGee, Les Claypool's
Frog Brigade and 20 other bands and DJs.
Searches conducted by United States
Customs officials, with the assistance of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Department,
yielded an assortment of illegal substances, including ecstasy, marijuana,
cocaine, heroin, hashish and brownies laced with marijuana. Steven M. Beatty,
the 35-year-old manager of jam-trance band STS9 (booked to perform on the

have their way, Michael Jackson's child-molestation trial will include

the power--of the IRS, that is. Isley, a founding member of the legendary
Isley Brothers, pleaded innocent Monday to tax evasion charges.
Specifically, the feds claim he failed
to report performance and royalty income to the agency.
The 63-year-old was indicted in October
on five counts of tax evasion covering the years from 1997 to 2002 and

Eve, Universal recorded a 29.59% share for 2004 in the USA according to
Neilsen-SoundScan. BMG was in number two spot with 15.20% of the market
but even when combined with Sony Music to create the new Sony-BMG figure
Universal was still in front with Sony-BMG combined registering a 28.46%
share.
Warner Music had 14.68% of the sales market
while EMI had 9.91%. Independent labels accounted for a 17.36% market share,
making Indies the second biggest force in US music after Universal in 2004.[see
