. (Candlelight Records) Candlelight Records confirms October 4 as the American release date for the new studio album from Norway's Grimfist. Titled Ten Steps to Hell, it is the second studio album from the rapidly growing extreme metal band.

Recorded at Subsonic Society Studios (Dismember, Susperia) and mixed at Studio Fredman (In Flames, The Haunted), Ten Steps to Hell is riff assault. Guitars and vocals both firmly presented in-your-face style wrap around an intense rhythm that recalls what made the initial thrash genre so energetic. And talk about drums! Let your ears bear witness to the human machine (the album debutting new drummer Christian Svendsen).
