(Peta) Between the tail-end of their celebrated European tour and the launch of their 22-city North American summer tour, Stretch Arm Strong lead singer Chris McClane and guitarist David Sease made time to pose for a brand-new pro-vegetarian public service announcement (PSA) for their pals at peta2PETA's youth division. In the ad, Chris and David, both of whom have gone vegetarian, appear in an exclusive photo next to The Smiths-inspired tagline "Meat Is Still Murder" and remind their legions of fans around the world that they don't have to support cruel factory farms and the "deplorable meat industry" when great veggie options abound.

If fans are getting a little restless waiting for the band's new album Free at Last (WPO Records) to drop on September 13, peta2 has great news: Visitors to peta2.com can register to win a free CDbefore the album is available in storesand other great prizes. The grand-prize winner will also receive a pair of pro BMXer Taj Mihelich's signature Etniesnonleather, of course. The Stretch Arm Strong PSA can be viewed at www.peta2.com.
