to NME.com. James Diamond alleges that he co-produced and collaborated

Detroit duo's first release. Diamond is looking for back royalties from
sales of the album, "ownership interest" in the master recordings, and
a share of future profits. He claims that he provided the Stripes with
"additional artistic suggestions, supervision and contributions" during

INS Vs. Subhumans
Citzenfish.com reports: OK, the unthinkable
has happened. Due to an understaffed US immigration dept and increased
security regulations, they've been unable to process our visas on time
for the tour, despite the applications being on theirr desk way back in
July, so it looks like AT LEAST the first five shows are off, though I'm
sure theyll go ahead with the other bands, UNSEEN, CAUSTIC CHRIST, and
SEVEN CROWNS who are all fantastic, so please go along anyway. As soon
as we get our appointment through for our fingerprinting, eye-scans, and
vetting at the US embassy in London we can rebook our plane tickets (no
refund on the old ones) and finally get on with the tour. To any of you
thinking we should just come over without visas, as soon as they tap in
our passport numbers they see we haven't had our visas issued and send
us home and won't let us back for five years minimum, and possibly won't
ever let us back in so no more tours in the US ever.....etc etc. so not
a very clever thing to try. Sorry, and fingers crossed that we get there
soon[see full story for more]- Click

CD "LIVE AT PERKINS' PLACE", in stores October 19th

For Live At Perkins Palace, though, Perkins wanted to try and capture the very essence of Banyan's ambitious live experience. In doing so, he trimmed the group's far-reaching lineup down to its four core members. This time around Banyan consists of former Minute Men bassist and low-frequency iconoclast, Mike Watt handling bass duties, Wilco's current ghost-birthing guitarist, Nels Cline, one-time Death Row records session musician, Willie Waldman on trumpet, and, of course, Jane's Addiction's tribal rhythm provider, Stephen Perkins, holding it all together on the kit.
